Pure Gym Limited

We aim to be an inclusive and welcoming business for our members and our people because we believe that we can have a bigger impact when we embrace our differences to drive our business results and create a better future every day. Our Employee Network Groups (ENGs) support our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and an inclusive working environment. Our people tell us that our culture is one of the best things about working here. We have held onto the entrepreneurial spirit that has helped us to become a successful business, working hard to achieve our mission but having a lot of fun together along the way.

'Free to be' you at puregym

At the heart of any culture are the individuals that own it. Linked to our values and our brand promise of ‘everybody welcome’, our inclusion strategy has helped us develop an ethos that we call ‘Free to Be’ because we want everyone in the PureGym family to feel free to be who they really are and embrace each other’s differences.

Going the distance

We’re a great place to work in the good times and the hard times. We’re proud of our people and the strength of our culture which helped us to overcome one of the most challenging periods in recent history. Hear first-hand how we’ve gone the distance together and bounced back stronger than ever from the COVID-19 pandemic.

These groups support an inclusive work environment, allowing us to hear from different voices and help us create a clearer picture of life here at PureGym. We respect and value each other’s differences and understand that you do your best work when you can be your authentic self. Groups include LGBTQ+, Women, and Ethnic, however we will continue to evolve this to better represent and embrace the diversity of our people.

We’re committed to creating a culture where equality and diversity is valued and respected, which is supported by our LGBTQ+ Employee Network Group, and we are proud to support local Pride events across the UK, including being long-standing official sponsors of Manchester Pride, Pride in London and Brighton and Hove Pride.

Hear from our Employee Network Group who share their experiences and advice on how we can all Rise & Shine for the LGBTQ+ community.

At PureGym, we’re committed to providing a safe and welcoming place for everybody. Our gyms are friendly, supportive, and judgment-free spaces where everybody can come in, work out and leave feeling good. As a leading gym operator, we recognise our responsibility to look after the physical and emotional safety of our members and our people. We want our gyms to be safe places to work and safe places to work out, and so we developed a propriety safety framework, TrainSafe. TrainSafe is our safety commitment which centres around three key areas: cleanliness & hygiene, physical safety & security, and the welcoming, judgement-free treatment of everyone. We have a dedicated care team to deal with any experiences that fall short of this: [email protected]
